EPISODE #38 – KIRA GEISS

“Hello Beauties!” – A beauty queen who doesn’t value appearances? Where is something like that? Well, in my podcast BEAUTY WILLIAMS – THE GLOW MUST GO ON!  

In this episode I talk to Kira Geiss, the reigning Miss Germany 2023. Kira contradicts pretty much every stereotype of a pageant winner: She doesn't need make-up to feel beautiful, she doesn't want staged photos on the internet - but she also says: "Of course you can put on make-up and use a ring light to look better on social media." It is important to the 20-year-old that we are clear about the difference: “Social media is not real life”.  
How often have I almost forgotten during our podcast that Kira and I are separated by a whole generation. This is her great talent: getting people of all ages to talk to each other. No matter whether “Baby Boomers” or “Gen Z” – all groups can and should learn from others, says Kira. She works for her generation as a speaker, coach and volunteer in a young Christian community. And now, as the reigning Miss Germany, she is also an ambassador for female empowerment.
