Fashion not only underlines our personality, but also makes us strong and self-confident. Clothes make the man - and women anyway. With my new collection I want to bring more color into your wardrobe - and help you enjoy life carefree with looks.

When I was four years old, I received an old negligee from my grandmother. I can still remember it clearly: It was delicate pink, had wonderfully romantic ruffles and was trimmed with chiffon. When I wore it, I was in seventh heaven. I felt like a princess in it and my love for fashion was awakened.

To this day, fashion is very important to me. Not only is the right clothing fun, it also has the power to make us more confident. And: It can give us the feeling: I simply feel comfortable in my skin - and I radiate it! It's not for nothing that they say: clothes make the man - and women anyway.

As my team and I created the new collection for HSE (available now!), I had women in mind that I meet every day. Those I see when I'm shopping, who meet me in the city or who I sit across from in a Zoom meeting every day, namely my employees. I want to brighten up all of their lives with my collection, underline their personality and give them an extra dose of self-confidence - because they feel good in their clothes.

The highlight of my collection: The pieces all build on each other in terms of color, so that they can be wonderfully combined with each other. This makes fashion super uncomplicated!

And: Of course my collection also includes accessories. I'm crazy about accessories anyway and I think they give the whole thing that certain something. Fashion without accessories is like soup without spices. A white shirt can become a whole fashion universe with different accessories. Or ten-year-old items that can be given a new shine with a piece of jewelry or a beautiful bag.

That's exactly what I think a modern collection has to do in these times: it has to adapt to US and not we to it. In no time at all it should make us shine in all situations - from a relaxed, sporty look in our free time to a business outfit. Each of us fulfills many different roles. My fashion should be so uncomplicated that it helps us to fill it out as best as possible - and to look great at the same time.

If I had to choose a favorite piece from my collection, it would probably be one category: Because we are incredibly strong in pants, I think! Many women simply have problems finding pants that fit really well. I know this from my mother, what odysseys we've been through! At some point I said: We have to take this into our own hands. No sooner said than done. With my team, I managed to find really great cuts that flatter every figure. And let's be honest, they do a great job of concealing one or two problem areas on the legs and hips. Well-fitting trousers are the basis for a harmonious overall look: you can combine everything with them and are always well dressed. And from my own experience I can say that they are really durable. I still wear the pants from my first fashion show – big love!
