YUMMY! THIS FOOD MAKES YOU BEAUTIFUL
BY JUDITH WILLIAMS
Our refrigerator is a real mini spa! Because many foods have a super positive effect on our bodies. Linseed oil keeps the skin supple, citrus fruits prevent age spots and coconut oil ensures wonderfully shiny hair and lips. You can pamper your skin and hair with these eating tips. Mmm, delicious!
You are... yes, exactly: what you eat! I'm definitely not telling you anything new when I remind you of how important good nutrition is! (Oops, I really sound like a mother admonishing her children...) But eating right isn't just important for staying healthy. It also has a wonderful side effect: it makes us feel much more comfortable in our skin. Because in the truest sense of the word: beauty comes from within!
"Choose your food carefully. Because beauty comes from within."

In this post I have put together foods for you that have a direct effect on skin and hair.
Carrots: They are good for the eyes - but not only that. The carotene they contain means they protect the skin from sunlight. Incidentally, carotene is a precursor to vitamin A, a deficiency of which threatens hair loss. Conversely, the right amount ensures a healthy, shiny lion's mane.
linseed oil: Fresh linseed oil tastes really delicious, both on its own and with potatoes and quark. But this is supposed to be about the effect on skin and hair... And, lo and behold: the omega-3 fatty acids it contains keep the skin supple and reduce the risk of wrinkles.
Apples: Do you know the saying “An apple a day keeps the doctor away”? One reason for this is that apples bind so-called free radicals. These are contained, for example, in nicotine, alcohol and UV rays. They weaken our immune system and connective tissue. Conversely, fewer radicals lead to a fresher complexion. So: eat an apple every day, my dears!
Walnuts: In addition to omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin E, which has an antioxidant effect and is even said to help with neurodermatitis, biotin in particular pampers the skin, hair and nails. It also accelerates wound healing. Walnuts also contain pantothenic acid, which ensures smooth skin.
Citrus fruits: Lemons and the like are not only great for the immune system, but also prevent age spots and pigment spots. Vitamin C also stimulates metabolism and collagen production, which ensures that the skin is plumped up from the outside, so to speak.
Lentils and tofu: These two foods are wonderful sources of protein, especially for vegetarians and vegans. The body needs this to build and maintain skin, hair and nails. Lentils also contain zinc, which ensures shiny hair and supports skin renewal.
Dried apricots: Because it's saying bye bye summer again... How good that there are dried fruits! This means we can enjoy apricots all year round - because they contain a lot of vitamin E and fiber, for example. This stimulates digestion and prevents skin aging.
oatmeal: The biotin it contains makes the hair shine, while iron gives us a fresh complexion. Best enjoyed in the morning as muesli or porridge - a real power start to the day!
