Over the course of our lives, we ask ourselves many questions – big and small. There are so many challenges and uncertain moments where we have self-doubt and wonder if we are making the right decisions. The short answer to these questions: You can do it all! When I was asked to be a juror on “The Lion’s Den” eight years ago, I almost declined. To be honest, I was afraid of negative reactions. For a long time, women in Germany in particular had a difficult time among all the businessmen and preferred to keep quiet about their own success. The idea of ​​sitting on a jury as a woman and judging business models seemed impossible to me. When I told my husband about my doubts, he just looked at me in disbelief. “You of all people can give women a face in business,” he said. And he gave me the courage to encourage other female founders to believe in themselves and pursue their dreams. No sooner said than done. I overcame my fears and agreed. The rest is history. I haven't regretted the decision for a second to shape the show and especially Female Founder as a founding member from the first season onwards.

Back then, my husband gave me a “pep talk”, a kind of motivational talk. Through his perspective I was able to completely reframe the situation. He encouraged me, took away my fears and gave me a push in the right direction. And that's exactly why I love "Peptalks" so much: through uplifting, inspiring words from outside, you suddenly start to look at things in a completely new way - and learn an incredible amount. Believe in yourself, no matter what!

From now on, I will regularly publish small “pep talks” on a wide variety of topics on my channel judithwilliamsofficial. I talk about concrete everyday problems, how to give constructive feedback, how to become a role model for others or how not to get lost in the social media world.

Social media is particularly relevant for Generation Z. And she is in the middle of her discovery phase. The younger girls and boys are faced with so many decisions that they have to make, so many challenges in everyday life and unanswered questions. I hope I can give you some small answers with my life experience and make you think more optimistically and positively.
