"GO GIRL GO!" - THE NAME IS PROGRAM!

FROM EDITOR

Whoop, whoop: Judith is joining the podcasters! In the interview, she talks about what makes podcasts so special, why women still don't talk about themselves enough - and what we focus on at "GO GIRL GO!" can look forward to.

HOW DID YOU COME ON THE IDEA OF BRINGING OUT YOUR OWN PODCAST?

I've often looked for podcasts where women can learn something from other women. But I didn't really find what I was looking for. Women from politics and business in particular are interviewed on all sorts of topics, but not about their own careers. So it was clear to me: I have to do it myself! (laughs). So I brought together great women from very different areas and they told me how they became who they are today. Together we will decipher it Secret code of power women!

WHAT IS THE APPEAL OF THE SPOKEN WORD FOR YOU: WHAT DO PODCASTS OFFER THAT PRINTED MAGAZINES CANNOT, FOR EXAMPLE?

On the one hand, it is simply less complicated. To read something, I have to sit. When I listen, however, I can be in motion. For example, I often listen to podcasts when I'm putting on makeup or driving. I also think that the voice conveys something completely different that can hardly be achieved with printed words. You can hear the emotions, the warmth. Good podcasts are simply an experience!

IN YOUR PODCAST YOU TALK TO POWER WOMEN ABOUT THEIR STORIES. WHY DO YOU ONLY HAVE FEMALE INTERVIEW PARTNERS?

Because I allow myself to! (laughs). No really, I think it's important that there is a podcast that only deals with women and the question: How do women get ahead? And what can I learn from powerful women? The name “GO GIRL GO!” is program. I want to encourage women to believe in themselves! I've been committed to this for years Women Empowerment, because young women in particular are looking for female role models so that they can then go their own way. My aim is not to exclude men, but rather to make women a natural part of the team. A country like Germany, which has no raw materials, cannot afford to do without half of its creative and intelligent minds. If we want to shape the future positively, we need more femininity, especially in the boardroom and management!

WHY IS IT SO IMPORTANT THAT WOMEN TALK ABOUT THEIR PATHS AND SHARE THEIR EXPERIENCES WITH OTHERS?

Women still don't talk enough about their journey. We are often the busy bees in the background, but we don't show ourselves. Successful women are often in an area where they are not even noticed. That's a shame - and we have to change that!

HOW WERE YOUR FIRST STEPS AS AN ENTREPRENEURIAL?

It was really hard. At that time there were no successful women in Germany to look after. The first meetings were demanding. There were only men sitting across from me who were of course experts in their respective fields and who made it clear to me. Now I'm fighting to make it easier for the new generation of women. It is important that we women network. With my podcast, I not only want to provide concrete and practical tips on entrepreneurship, but also provide insights into the work-life balance and the emotional world of successful and influential women.

WHAT WOULD BE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL THING YOUR PODCAST COULD EMPTY TO LISTENERS?

I would like many women to see themselves as bosses and that the words “power” and “women” are no longer a contradiction. Society should perceive women, leadership, career and success as something entirely positive.
