THESE THREE FASHION TRENDS ARE COMING NOW!
FROM EDITOR
Life is slowly coming back to us - and we are no longer just dressing for our own four walls, but finally for the world outside! My new fashion collection expresses how we feel now. Whether cozy-elegant, courageous or casual-playful: I'll introduce you to three trends of the moment!
COZY BUT ELEGANT
“Anyone who wears sweatpants has lost control of their life.” This quote from Karl Lagerfeld seems completely out of date, because homewear was THE big topic during Corona. The whole world was in the home office and in view of video conferences in “waist-up dressing” mode: from the waist up you wore a chic blouse and below – where the camera wasn’t filming – sweatpants!
I am sure: this new convenience will stay. We've become so used to flattering and effortless materials that we don't want to be without them. The difference now compared to the last year and a half is that the pieces don't have to work (only) at home, but also in business. Or even: eating with friends. Or: on vacation. Because, yay, our lives no longer only take place within our own four walls. We're conquering the world again!
This guiding principle is also the core of my new collection. My team and I have designed looks that are made of comfortable and elastic materials - and at the same time are visually elegant. For example, I love our top, which wears like a shirt but looks like a blouse. You feel completely comfortable in your skin and nothing pinches or pinches - and you still cut a great figure in every business meeting! My premium “Super Stretch Judy Pants” are also brilliant. It has an incredible 9 percent elastane content, which means you could even wear it for sports. (Of course you don't, because they look way too chic for that!) By the way: There's a discount on the pants during fashion week! Instead of 199 euros you can buy them for 149 euros. The price is unbeatable for this premium quality!
WE DARE
Do you feel it too? This incredible urge for life? This relief because so much more is possible than it was six months ago? Researchers predict a real explosion of joy in life in the post-Corona period. Similar to the Spanish flu, they expect a revival of the Roaring Twenties, which caused a real frenzy in art, culture, nightlife and gastronomy. And of course: also in fashion. Our clothing is the first thing that directly conveys our mood to the outside world. The relief and optimism after this difficult time can nowhere be expressed as well as in fashion, which makes us strong and self-confident - and lets us shine. In my collection I therefore focus on statement pieces because they symbolize a “yes” to life! Yes, we want to go out again. Yes, we want to feel good. Yes, we want to treat ourselves! An important theme in my collection is therefore eye-catching models made of leather and imitation leather. And we’re finally seeing animal prints again. Cool snake and leo looks are a big hit!
THE NEW LIGHTNESS
The “yes” to life is also expressed in a new lightness. We no longer want to have heavy thoughts, worry or see everything - in the truest sense of the word - as black in fashion. No, we want to be colorful, happy, carefree and feminine. We want to celebrate life and be as free-thinking as possible in fashion. My new collection therefore also includes many pieces that celebrate boho style. It is characterized by casual, playful, cosmopolitan and creative looks and lets us go through life with ease. The chiffon dress, for example, is perfect for this, as it has a flattering length and exudes great casualness thanks to the material alone. Chiffon is a feather-light material that has its origins in the 18th century. Back then, silk chiffon was the epitome of luxury and stood for class and wealth. Complemented by a cool snake print, the dress becomes an absolute dream piece that wonderfully reflects the new lightness. The knitted cardigan with the fringes also captures the lifestyle of the boho nomads: We want to be adventurous again, go on trips and let ourselves go.
