7 TRICKS TO MAKE YOUR PERFUME LAST LONGER
Perfumes are like little time capsules that bring back memories of special moments and seasons. A timeless fragrance impresses with its perfectly coordinated composition and versatility - ideal as a daily companion or as an unmistakable signature scent. Such unique perfumes enrich your everyday life, give you a feeling of luxury and envelop you like a gentle hug - always and everywhere. A real feel-good experience!
1. APPLY IMMEDIATELY AFTER SHOWERING
The residual moisture after a warm shower allows your skin to absorb and store scent molecules particularly well. The slightly damp skin ensures that the scent lasts longer and is perceived more intensely. Our tip: Gently pat yourself dry and apply your perfume directly - this way the scent lasts longer!
2. PROPER PREPARATION IS KEY
Fats are true fragrance boosters and can significantly extend the shelf life of your perfume. To do this, wear a little petroleum jelly or – even better – a nourishing one Body lotion on the desired skin areas. This means your favorite scent not only stays more intense, but also accompanies you throughout the day.
3. PRO TRICK: SPRAY FROM BOTTOM UP
A clever tip from the world of chemistry: scent molecules rise to the top! It's best to spray your favorite scent from bottom to top - this way it unfolds optimally and accompanies you all around.
„A perfume has an incredible amount to do with emotionality: as soon as we perceive it, it awakens feelings such as joy and love in us - and that, in my opinion, is an art!”

All4. SPRAY ON HAIRBRUSH
A secret trick from Judith: Fragrances adhere particularly well to the surface of the hair – up to six hours! However: Perfumes contain alcohol and this can dry out the hair. Better: Spray your favorite scent onto a brush and gently comb through your hair. By the way, hair perfumes are a good alternative. They contain less alcohol and also pamper your hair with nourishing ingredients.
5. CHOOSE UNUSUAL PARTS OF THE BODY
The classic warm areas of the body near the pulse, such as the neck, décolleté, crook of the arm and wrists, make perfumes more intense, but the scent lasts longer in colder areas: a splash of perfume in the back of the knees or on the earlobe is another tip from our bag of tricks for you!
6. DO NOT RUB
You see it again and again - but it's better not to. If you rub your wrists together, you destroy the sensitive scent molecules and take away their intensity through the friction. Better: Gently press or tap your wrists together. Voila!
7. SPRAY ON NATURAL FIBER
If you don't change your perfume often, it's a great idea to spray your clothes with your signature scent too. The scent sticks particularly well to natural fibers such as cotton, viscose, angora or cashmere.

JUDITH'S secret TIP:
For all of you who are brave and like to experiment like me: “Scent layering” involves layering different perfumes on top of each other – so you can create your very own scent! Great, right? Always start with the most intense scent and combine it with 1 – 2 lighter ones. What I really love, for example: One shade for the wrist and neck, a second shade for the hair. The only rule I set for myself: less is more. Otherwise there are no limits: just follow your instincts and try it out!
