Charity
"Look at everything you have, be great and give back." Social commitment is a matter of course for Judith Williams. She wants to give something back.
DM x Outpatient Children's Hospice Munich
Judith Williams herself became active at the checkout for a good cause: in cooperation with dm, she collected 5,000 euros for the Munich Outpatient Children's Hospice (AKM) as part of a special fundraising campaign. The foundation supports seriously ill children and their families - from the time of diagnosis, often over many years.
SOCIALBEE
For the second time, Judith Williams supports the SOCIAL-BEE initiative with great conviction. The non-profit organization is committed to enabling refugees to sustainably integrate into the German labor market through employment relationships subject to social insurance contributions. SOCIAL-BEE not only accompanies refugees individually on their journey, but at the same time relieves companies of the burden of creating fair and inclusive jobs.
German dementia support
Judith Williams supports the #BathrobeChallenge of the German Dementia Aid with heart and attitude. The campaign sends a signal of solidarity with people with dementia and at the same time promotes donations to support dementia research. The bathrobe symbolizes the everyday challenges of those affected.
Talking hands
Judith Williams: "The commitment of these two women is heartbreaking. Of course, Talking Hands is not a startup in the classic sense, but my fellow lions and I are deeply moved and will support this inclusion project with donations."
Judith Williams has already donated 10,000 euros to equip more than 40 daycare centers in the Munich area with the Talking Hands sets.
SOS CHILDREN'S VILLAGE
“Children are the greatest happiness and hope,” says Judith, “it is important that they grow up loving and protected.” Therefore, it is only logical for them to take care of the little ones who have no family. She has been supporting SOS Children's Villages as an ambassador since 2009 - and is deeply impressed by the performance of the employees.
DKMS Life
Together against cancer: Judith has been supporting DKMS LIFE for many years. The non-profit organization offers cosmetic seminars in which girls and women with cancer learn to better deal with the external changes of therapy. Judith Williams' start-up NUI Cosmetics DKMS LIFE is lovingly available to help with this.
ARK HEART BRIDGES
Together with Manuel Reinalter (former managing director of the Cura Cosmetics Group), Judith supported the Arche Herzensbrücken financially. The Arche Herzensbrücken is a project of the children and youth hospice support association. They enable families with children and young people with serious, chronic or life-limiting illnesses to take an affordable break together. Affected families can relax, recover and recharge their batteries in a family-run hotel in Seefeld/Tyrol.
RTL FUNDAMENTARY MARATHON
In the celebrity edition “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” in January 2019, Judith played for the RTL telethon. In addition, she decided to donate all profits from her current book “How Dreams Learn to Fly” to the RTL Telethon 2019. Judith Williams also actively supported the RTL donation marathon in 2020.
KARO E.V.
The association offers protection to children, young people and women who have experienced physical and psychological violence. The help offers and projects in southwest Saxony include street work, advice centers, a shelter, the baby hatch and networking.
JOSÉ CARRERAS LEUKEMIA FOUNDATION
Judith is linked by fate to the star tenor José Carreras. Both are very lucky to have beaten an illness. That's why Judith Williams is now supporting José Carrera in the fight against leukemia. A large part of the sales of Judith's book "Stumbling into Happiness" goes to the José Carreras Leukemia Foundation.
