Spring is in the hair!
Beautiful and healthy hair needs more sophisticated care - just like our skin! Especially now that we have many valuable hours at home, we can give our mane an extra-large portion of TLC. Because we believe that time we invest in ourselves is time well spent! You too? Then here comes a little one how to care for your hair Care guide for your very own home spa program.
If we can learn anything these days, it is this: our similarities are much greater than our differences. And: health and well-being are the greatest good! That's why let's be positive and use this “gained” time to finally devote ourselves to more complex beauty topics and intensive hair treatments! You've been getting hair care from our Judith Williams Cosmetics world for many years now - and we'd like to share this wealth of experience with you at the start of spring: Here are 5 tips for proper washing and care.
TIP 1: CARE ACCORDING TO YOUR HAIR NEEDS
Very important and always applies: recognize your individual hair needs! Because hair colors and structures are as unique and multifaceted as our personalities - and both our requirements and our styling habits change or shift over the course of a lifetime. So that your hair can bloom in all its beauty, it is incredibly important that you choose the care products that suit your current hair needs!
Thin hair: Is happy about special ones Volume products
Damaged hair: Needs a lot of love and building ingredients
Dry hair: Is thirsty and wants to Moisture, moisture, moisture
Colored hair: Will Color protection and care
TIP 2: USE CONDITIONER
We can tell you this from over 25 years of experience: Consistently use a conditioner after your shampoo! This provides the ultimate moisture kick and seals the hair surface. This not only makes them easier to comb - they also have a velvety shine and the color lasts longer. Extra tip: If your hair is extremely stressed, massage a little conditioner into the ends before washing - this will protect it from the degreasing effects of the shampoo.
“Take special care of your body now and make sure that you feel good.”
-Judith Williams
TIP 3: USE HAIR MASK
Hair masks are not common without reason Hair treatment called: Because a treatment is what a mask is for the face: It nourishes the hair intensively and rebuilds it! We can use the increased time at home to treat ourselves to half an hour of mask time once or twice a week. It's best to mark two fixed beauty days in your weekly calendar on which you have a haircare date with yourself.
TIP 4: USE SPECIAL PRODUCT
What we are currently using regularly and would highly recommend to you: A repairing hair serum. Simply apply a small amount of the serum to the scalp, massage gently and distribute to the lengths. Whether on damp or dry hair: This strengthens the hair roots, smoothes the cuticle and repairs damage right down to the tips!
TIP 5: WASH AND DRY PROPERLY
When it comes to washing, be careful not to use too hot. Always wash the roots more intensively than the lengths - because the ends dry out more quickly. Tip: Finally, briefly run cold water over your scalp - this takes effort, but stimulates blood circulation. The longer the hair is allowed to dry afterwards, the shorter you have to blow-dry it! That's why you're welcome to sit in front of your laptop with a towel turban and let it dry a little longer than usual. Speaking of time: Since we're leaving our home less often at the moment, you can also postpone washing your hair a little with a clear conscience. 😉 This grace period is good!
